The secret method, which determines whether your next direct marketing
campaign will succeed or fail, is primarily based on the database you
are or are not using.
The 1) List, 2) Copy and 3) Offer are the three major components of every
successful direct marketing campaign, whether it's via the mail, on the
Internet or another medium. In order for your campaign to succeed, it
must first reach an audience predisposed to purchasing your products or
services. Therefore, the selection of an audience - the "list," is by
far the most important aspect of any direct marketing campaign.
You can sell almost anything to a good list and the opposite is equally

all lists with groups who are least likely to buy your products or services
